About Me

I’m Elin, the creator behind the brand. What started as a hobby has grown into something I’m so proud of today! My journey began in 2016 when I started wire-wrapping crystals while studying at university. It started off as a way to make my own jewellery and have a creative outlet. I was encouraged to list my creations on Etsy, and so, along came my first order - all the way from the U.S., which felt surreal! It was amazing to know that someone across the world appreciated my jewellery.
-
What began as a small Etsy shop evolved significantly during the 2019 lockdown. With more time to focus, I expanded my collection and began listing more pieces. As restrictions lifted, I also began selling at local craft markets and loved it. I’m still at markets around South Wales today, and I love meeting new people who stop by to browse or make a purchase. Not long ago, I reached over 5,000 sales on Etsy—an achievement I never imagined possible!

In January 2024, my fiancé Conor and I welcomed our beautiful baby boy into the world. During maternity leave, I took a brief step back from jewellery-making, but it became clear to me that creating is what I truly love to do. My son has inspired me to grow, and I’ve recently rebranded from 'Elin Elizabeth' to 'Ethereal Collective' to better reflect the vision I have for my brand. Along with this rebrand, I launched this website—something I’ve dreamt of for a long time.

Though I often refer to 'Ethereal Collective' as "we," it’s mostly just me, Elin, doing all the design, photography, and day-to-day tasks. However I don't feel as it's just myself as I have a wonderful team behind me, especially my wonderful fiancé and my mother, who help me out at craft events and keep things running smoothly so I can focus on creating and fulfilling orders.
